Description

Trollius chinensis ‘Golden Queen’, commonly known as Chinese globeflower, is a clump-forming perennial notable for its vibrant golden-orange, bowl-shaped flowers measuring 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7.5 cm) across. These blooms appear from late spring into midsummer, rising above deeply divided, dark green foliage. Mature plants typically reach a height of 24 to 36 inches (60 to 90 cm) and spread 18 to 24 inches (45 to 60 cm). ‘Golden Queen’ thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers humus-rich, consistently moist soils, making it ideal for boggy or poorly drained areas such as pond or stream edges. Hardy in USDA zones 3 through 7, this variety is also deer and rabbit resistant and attracts pollinators like butterflies and hummingbirds.

Sold well-rooted in a tall 9cm pot.
