Tradescantia ‘Osprey’ is a clump-forming perennial that grows to about 18 inches (45 cm) tall and spreads approximately 24 inches (60 cm) wide. It features narrow, lance-shaped, dark green leaves and produces clusters of three-petaled white flowers with distinctive blue centers. Blooming occurs from early summer through early fall. Each individual flower opens in the morning and typically lasts for a single day. This plant thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil.
