​Thalictrum aquilegifolium ‘My Little Favourite’, commonly known as French meadow rue, is a compact, clump-forming perennial valued for its delicate, airy appearance. In early summer, it produces panicles of small, fluffy, purple-pink flowers atop wiry purple stems, rising above blue-green, scalloped foliage. Mature plants typically reach a height of 20 to 24 inches (50 to 60 cm) and spread about 12 to 20 inches (30 to 50 cm). ‘My Little Favourite’ thrives in partial shade and prefers moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils. Hardy in USDA zones 5 through 9, this variety attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies while demonstrating resistance to deer and rabbits. Its compact size and ornamental appeal make it an excellent choice for borders, cottage gardens, and woodland settings.
