Description
Seed count: 50 minimum
Botanical name: Mirabilis jalapa ‘Marbles’
This vigorous bedding plant is often treated as an annual, but is actually a tuber-forming perennial (like a dahlia). The colorful tubular flowers open in the afternoon and evenings, lending the common name “Four O’Clock’. Dig them up in the fall to save the tubers, or just start again from seed. Either way, these are easy and long lasting color in the garden.
