The Rosa ‘Secret’ is a hybrid tea rose known for its exquisite beauty and fragrance. This award-winning rose features creamy pink blooms brushed with rich pink at the edges, creating an elegant display. The flowers are medium to large, fully double with a petal count of 30 to 35, and sit atop almost thornless stems. What truly sets ‘Secret’ apart is its strong, sweet, and spicy fragrance, making it a delight in any garden.
This bushy plant grows to about 4 to 5 feet in height, with a spread of approximately 4.5 feet, showcasing green foliage with mahogany-red new growth. ‘Secret’ is celebrated for its prolific blooming habit, producing its stunning flowers from summer through fall.
Hybridized by Daniel Tracy and introduced by the Conard-Pyle Co. in 1994, ‘Secret’ is a result of crossing ‘Pristine’ with ‘Friendship’. Its remarkable fragrance and beautiful blooms have made it a favorite among gardeners and an All-America Rose Selections winner in 1994.
