Description
The ‘Evelyn’ rose, bred by David C. H. Austin and introduced in 1991, is part of the English Rose Collection. It is known for its apricot or apricot blend blooms that feature a strong fragrance. The flowers are medium-sized, very full, and have an average diameter of 3 inches. They are borne mostly solitary or in small clusters with a cupped-to-flat, rosette bloom form, and bloom in flushes throughout the season. This shrub grows to a height of 42 inches to 5 feet and a width of 30 inches to 4 feet, with dark green foliage and 5 leaflets. It’s suitable for USDA zones 5b through 10b.
