Description
‘Cinco de Mayo’ is a floribunda rose known for its distinctive smoky red-orange blooms with hints of lavender. The medium-sized, double flowers have a mild apple fragrance and appear in clusters, blooming repeatedly from spring through fall. The plant grows in a bushy, rounded form, reaching about 3 to 4 feet in height and width. Its glossy, dark green foliage offers a striking contrast to the uniquely colored flowers. This rose thrives in full sun and is hardy in USDA zones 5 through 10. It was bred by Tom Carruth and introduced in 2009, earning the All-America Rose Selections award the same year.
