Description
The true tea-producing species of Chinese camellia, and this cultivar is praised for making exceptionally good green tea. Selected by Piroche plants for its lovely pale pink flowers and excellent growing qualities. Unlike many other camellias, this is a fall-bloomer, displaying blooms from September through November on the west coast. Evergreen dark foliage on a shrub up to 8ft if allowed, but can be maintained lower. Hardy to zone 7.
