A floral hydrosol, in this case rose water, is a product of steam distillation of fresh petals. As the essential oils are extracted for perfume, the compounds that are soluble remain in the water as a fragrant, moisturizing essence of the rose. Rose water is praised for soothing skin, reducing swelling and redness, enhancing mood and relieving headaches.
This Damask Rose Water is sourced from organic producers of the true Damask rose in the perfume producing region of Bulgaria.
