Description
This one kept catching my eye in the garden centers last season because if the range of colors (green, gold and then almost coral red on the tips) and finely divided foliage. White spirea-like flowers follow in late spring to early summer. Drought tolerant and compact to around 4ft, great in the garden or a large container. Spreads by rhizomes, so watch the placement – great for banks and hillsides, but can outcompete neighbors in a mixed bed.
Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘Sem’ is the botanical name
