Description

Aubrieta ‘Cascade Blue’ is a low-growing, mat-forming evergreen perennial that reaches approximately 4 inches in height. Its small, gray-green leaves create a dense carpet of foliage. In mid to late spring, the plant is covered with vibrant violet-blue flowers, each featuring a tiny yellow eye, resulting in a striking display. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, ‘Cascade Blue’ prefers light, well-drained soils and exhibits drought tolerance once established. Its cascading habit makes it ideal for rock gardens, walls, or as ground cover, where it can suppress weeds and add early-season interest.
