Description

Achillea ptarmica ‘Marshmallow’ is a distinctive yarrow with full, button-like white flowers that have a slightly ruffled texture, resembling miniature pom-poms. Blooming from early to late summer, it reaches a height of 24 to 30 inches and thrives in moist, well-drained soils, tolerating heavier conditions better than many other yarrows. Hardy in zones 3 to 9, ‘Marshmallow’ is a good choice for mixed borders, cottage gardens, or naturalized areas, where its airy blooms and fine, deep green foliage add a soft, informal touch. It also makes a long-lasting cut flower, fresh or dried.
