Description
A classic choice for the spring garden, bleeding hearts throw impressive stems arrayed with hanging heart-shaped flowers. A long-lived perennial, forming a larger clump each year. Its only fault is that it tends to go dormant entirely in the later heat of summer – making way for other plants is the way I like to spin it.
