Description
Gooseberries have a well-deserved reputation for tartness. This red cultivar goes some way towards bucking that reputation. When fully ripe, the berries are tangy and sweet – large like grapes and plentiful on the bush. This is one of the few fruiting shrubs that will perform well in a partly shaded location.
